Im so excited i just hope we are prepared weve had a few last minute changes (like adding a weath laying ceremony) but other than that i think we are ready im proud of the honor guard this year weve done everything in about a little over half the time we had last year so weve really pulled it together so i applaud all those on honor guard this year i think we owe a special thanks to LT Rupert and 1LT Horn(the other one not me) who have helped us get ready for it.

This weekend was awesome. I think we made a showing on channels 2, 6, 8 and 23. We also made the front page of the newspaper with a massive picture. Almost everything went awesome. The ceremonies were real sharp.

The Honor Gaurd was outstanding! Everyone I talked to was amazed at how well you guys performed. I especially appreciate the sacrifice some made by going to Sand Springs on Monday morning. I know that isn't where your hearts were at, but we've got to take care of the people who provide us with a meeting place.

I was in the whole Honor Guard @ Floral Haven and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in CAP + I had a lot of fun doing it. The best feeling is that your doing it for all the veterans

Couple Q's? Are we going to just do the HG drill w/o rifles? Are we going to have an "application phase?"

You will have rifles. Don't ask me questions you don't want to know the answers to.

If you consider Dedication, Discipline, and Hard Work hard then yes. two things to consider when applying for the guard 1) What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger 2) You never know what you can do until you've tried...
