My mother is a secretary for SAME (Society of American Military Engineers). There will be a board meeting on Friday July 22 at Johnny's (51rst and Harvard). My mother was wondering if a SM and some cadets would like to attend the meeting to discuss what CAP is and what a donation would mean to our organization. It would probably start at 11:30 and would stay as long as we are needed (no longer that 30 min). She needs to know by Wednesday July 20.

This sounds like a good opportunity. Too bad I'll have to be at work. We'll see what we can come up with on Tuesday.

OK, we have an SME. Now we just need a few cadets.

Appropriate civilian attire is fine with me, especially when it's a lunch time on a workday thing. Blues would be better, but I know that's a pain.
You probably need to be ready to discuss and answer questions about our three missions and in what ways we fulfil them.

I forgot to discuss this at the meeting, but we're going to do it. Honey, can you see if Horn can go with you to this? Two cadets and a SME should be plenty.

Lipats, Horn, and I discussed it and I think the three of us were going to do it. I was planning on calling them right now.
