If you've never been involved with an online forum before it can be a little confusing. This forum seems pretty user friendly so far. Here are some guidelines for getting started.
The forum is currently set up to allow anyone to view any section except the staff area which is reserved for staff only. This allows you to read everything that is posted on the forum. If you never want to do anything but read the forum you don't have to do anything else. That is fine, but you will get much more from the forum if you participate in the discussions.
Once you've decided that you want to talk to other people on the forum you have to register. Registration is easy. On the forum home page you will notice a red stripe near the top of the screen with 5 words/icons. Click "register". When the next screen comes up you will need to enter the username that you want and a current valid email address. Read the user agreement and select "I agree" if you agree to play by the rules and click the register button. Your password will be automatically sent to the email address you provided. After you retrieve your password you can log in and join any of the existing conversations or start your own.
