I liked Stealth, but did they have to make 1 of the good guys die.

Yeah I thought stealth was cool too. Yes I didnt think that was needed, killing one of the good guys.

You have obviously not written much fiction before  (with the possible exception of superhero stories  ). Allowing some of the good guys to die adds to the realism and heightens the suspense. After the first one dies, one begins to wonder whether more will die, or whether he really died. It makes you ask questions and questions make it hard to stop watching the movie. Also some people like sad stories. If they didn't, then who would read stories like "Where the red fern grows" and "Old yeller." |

I pretty much new when the black guy was in the plane and the plane smashed into the side of the mountain he was dead. I would rather the good guys almost die and then somehow escape barely alive. But uh thats just me maybe.

Who gave you the idea that I thought whether he died was questionable. I never said that all of the reasons for letting the good guy die in fiction applied to that particular movie.
