We are still working out a couple of details but I have reserved the meeting room at the Owasso Public Library (sorry to the folks in south Tulsa/BA). The library is on Main St. first stop sign north of 76th St North on the left. Main is west of Hwy 169 about 1/4 mile. The time is set for 10am until 5 pm. Hopefuly we will be done quicker. The library is providing a computer and power point projector. We are trying to get the tests and possibly a set of 100-1 Comm.manuals. More info when it becomes available.
This will be both the Basic and Advanced Communications classes.

Great is the reward for a man who puts others before himself, The good of all before the one, through self sacrafice, initative, and a complete sense of others before self.

During the Communications class Saturday the question of where to find CAPM 50-15 was raised. Here is what I found in the CAP Knowledgebase on the CAP website. CAPR 60-3 CAP Emergency Services Training and Operational Missions Question CAP Regulation 50-15 (CAPR 50-15) is referenced in several places. This manual is not in the CAP online publications, nor is it anywhere to be found. Please let me know where I can download this manual in PDF format. Answer CAPR 50-15 and CAPR 55-1 are no longer current. They were consolidated into CAP REGULATION 60-3 (E) CAP EMERGENCY SERVICES TRAINING AND OPERATIONAL MISSIONS. Future references to CAPR 50-15 and CAPR 55-1 will be deleted as materials are updated.
Guess that answers that question.
On another note, I would like to hear from those that attended the class and what your thoughts are as to how the class was presented. Please be honest and know that I will hold no ill will for negative comments. I need to learn from my mistakes if there were any ( and I am sure the were some). If you have a negative comment, let me know how you think I can correct the problem. Was the material presented too technical, not techincal enough? Boring? How can the class be made better. ANY legitimate comments will be greatly appereciated. Positive comments are fine also. You can list them here or e-mail me direct at dromere@yahoo.com . You can also catch me at the meetings if you wish. Thanks to all that attended and I look forward to the next one.
