I just found this out, there is a Commemorative Air Force squdron that fixes up old WWII planes like Dimond lil, a B-24 Liborator, and it is a volunteer organization like us, and there do a lot more flying than us in old WWII planes, which would be pretty cool if smoe of us could join cheak out this website and tell me what u think www.caftulsa.org/index.htm

the CAF is cool and all in what they do I just wasnt too impressed with their program. CAP to me is more dynamic in that it teaches you skills that you can use outside of aviation. the leadership skills in the cadet programs, the moral leadership/ character development program; ES, knowing how to rationalize a situation that is going bad and utilize judgement on how to handle and account for problems as they arise.
If you maximize the cadet program to your full advantage you can learn all these things and more, and its something that the CAF doesnt offer or if they do its not apparent. It's still cool and if you want to do it and have the time (time being the key word) go for it more power to you
