[shadow=brown,left,300]Hotel Riddle:[/shadow] The clerk received $25. The bell hop received $2. The men received a total of $3. The men actually paid a total of $25 for the room and $2 for the bell hop. By saying that the men paid $27, you are counting the $2, which the bell hop received, twice. By subtracting this error, you will get a total of $27. The remaining $3 is, of course, with the men.

I can prove that 1=2
a=b
aa=ab
aa-bb=ab-bb
(a+b)(a-b) = b(a-b)
(a+b)(a-b)/(a-b)=b(a-b)/(a-b)
a+b=b
2b=b
2=1
Can you figure out what I did wrong? (Note: If you have seen this before, please don't answer.)

hotel riddle: did the men pay by cash or credit card if credit card then the bank messed it up, however for Archimedes' sake i'll go with cash; the men paid with a $20 bill and a $10 bill =$30 the change they recieved was 5 $1 bills. Two of which went to the bell hop leaving a remander of $3.
see me tuesday for the second problem I believe I know it. It reminds me of a genetic mutation seen in DNA (tRNA)

Ok heres for the real riddle if you solve it you get a _-{[(Bar of Gold)]}-_ JK anyway here it is (what do you stick in the toaster) -------------------- if you said toast there will be no bar of gold for you if you said bread you still get no bar of gold but you are a little smarter. Why do you torture yourself bailey. Ok if you insist. We were all at Mcdonalds after the star spangled salute airshow and we all just got our food and bailey sits down and then all the rest of us end up sitting at a different table. Well Bailey decides hes going to get up and sit by us and he stands up grabs his tray and kinda loses balence and the fries fall of his tray into Capt Cavetts lap. So he tries to make up for the loss of balance and tilts the tray the other way and flop there goes is drink of the other end of the tray whirrling top over bottom like 3 times and then lands flat on its lid. Oh man everyone was laughing for like 20 min. I fell into the booth and started crying. lol. and then he got situated and like 3 min later we were all just eating and all of us at the same time looked at bailey and just started laughing again for another good 10 min. Im laughing now just writing this story anyway from then forth he cant carry his own tray at a CAP activitie So now you know the rest of the story. Did i get the answer right Bailey?
