The answer is bread now leave it alone. Saying "if you said bread you still get no bar of gold but you are a little smarter" basically means bread is the right answer but I have no bar of gold to give anyone. It was said in a sacastic manner.

I have a question, just out of curiosity.
If a private civilian plane were to crash in the middle of the Amazon Jungle, who would respond to it? How would they respond? If possible, please make your answer relevant to 1991.

According to army FM (field manual) 116xb-0127567x1a Circ. 1992
aka Sarge's Top Secret Recipe's The eggs come first then the chickens. the reasoning is
'during combat situations it is necessary for unit morale to provide a stable dietary supply that not only nourishes the body but also the mind of our fighting soldiers....Powdered eggs should be served in some symbolence to breakfast (i.e. post morning PT chow {0600-0605}.)
Freeze dried chicken or freshly frozen beef should be served in some symbolence to lunch (i.e. post grenade throwing chow {1301-1306}.)'
to answer the question about the the Amazon either the Brazilian military or an ISAR group (International SAR) it also depends on the nationality of the plane

Thanks for answering the Amazon question. I about thought that it was forgotten.
About the egg and chicken riddle, that may be true, but the chicken was still created long before the army field manual (or the American army for that matter).
