Its kinda an inside joke, nothing against you personally you just haven't experienced all the stupidity yet. anyway how can you effectively hit the nail on the head Joe. I wish there was away to send that to the DOD JCOS. they made us wear one at all times in Qatar. funny thing is last time i checked I was receiving combat duty pay so they must really be concerned for my safety to ensure the enemy can see me so well. You couldn't even go to the bathroom without it. and that was like a 200yd dash every time.

Another good one is on flight line we are now required to use wands yet we cant wear hats because hats are considered potential FOD but the batons are supposed to help us communicate because pilots cant understand hand signals. I came up with an additional baton signal that requires the use of three batons. you use your first two batons to signal and when the pilot starts to ignore your signals, you hurl the third baton at the pilots windsheild reattaining the aircrews full and undivided attention.
