Just got this from Col. Smith: Aviation pioneer A. Scott Crossfield was flying in Georgia yesterday. Possibly due to bad weather, his Cessna 210 disappeared off radar about 1030. CAP was notified at approximately 1500. CAP volunteers from Georgia and Virginia searched until dark, and will continue the search today at first light.
