The reason I keep coming back to CAP is the missions. A chance to save a life. The single most fun activity you will do in CAP. Most missions are not Red Caps but they are all fun none the less. Starbase has some of the best Elper workers in all of CAP. Our senior cadets have had the training and experience to find even the hardest ELTs (Electronic Locating Transmitters). If you have questions about CAP missions or want to tell the story of the last mission you were on feel free as long as it is not classified. (For those of you who went on the navy plane mission that didnt happen see me later for details)

I doubt it. Just because the fact that through out the training they were like If the fire is bigger than a trash can run away. They are kinda like CAP in the manner of Personal Safety First.

We were doing fire spotting during the first part of the month I dont know right now however as a GTL one of the first rules is to always have a way out. With brush fires just a change of the wind can push the fires back and entrap a team. I read up on smoke jumpers in California while I was living in Oregon and a team of 8 jumpers died when their LZ became surrounded by flames. food for thought learn from others especially the dead ones

Okay, what does that have to do with fire watch? I don't think you can blow the fire out with Dentine Ice.

Depends on how much hot air you can blow out. LOL. dentine would take care of turning the Hot air to Cold.
